Off to go Trick- or- Treating!
For the very first time, they went from door to door in our neighborhood. We've only ever done the Main Street and Mall trick or treating. So it was a first and it was so much fun watching them.
| This is from trick or treating Main Street. We only went two blocks while waiting for Erik to get off of work, but it was long enough to check out a lot of costumes, which is why I like doing it:) Here we present our Merida and Pirate! So much easier than last year, hah! |
| Ghangnam style! Erik dressed up as Psy at work but changed before trick or treating. He was showing us his moves still. |
| Look how animated Kaori is in this picture. She was so excited to trick- or- treat. I can't remember what she was talking about, but cute none- the- less. It was getting windy, as you can see, but we did everything before it started pouring. |
They were so excited and we told them we would take them home unless they sounded enthusiastic and spoke loudly and thanked them. So they did and they loved it, and so did we! Kaori skipped down every driveway and raced up to the door every time. For once we had to tell HER to slow down. Nice change:)
This was our scariest house. Kaori was so freaked out at this house. As we left she couldn't stop staring at the ghost. If there hadn't been a normal not so scary house to go to immediately, I think she would have been dwelling on it a lot longer. At the next house she said, "THIS one is MUCH better!" and we continued on. She also would comment at each house about how nice the person was. They were nice if they talked to her. At one house she said, "that was a nice old lady," loud enough for the person to hear before she closed the door!
